Before starting the PhD program at OSU, I was an Oracle DBA for many years.
In parallel to being a DBA, I have also been a developer leader (I have an MCPD certification for .net), and later on a software architect as well.
Through the years, I gained experience in large scale applications (e.g. applications that process a lot of data, and store tera-bytes of data).

This uses the latest and up-to-date versions of Oracle and Oracle Unbreakable Linux as of the day it was written.
